UMKC Single-Reed Day

UMKC Single-Reed Day (October 27, 2019) is a free event geared towards middle and high school single-reed students studying in Missouri and Kansas. Events include clinics on All-State Band audition materials, clarinet/saxophone choir rehearsals, and a concert featuring the UMKC Saxophone and Clarinet Studios. The clinics are open to the public and single-reed students of all ages are encouraged to attend. The concert will include performances by students in the saxophone and clarinet studios at UMKC and will close with a piece that all participants are invited to perform on.

This event is completely free, however we do ask students who wish to participate in the clinics to reserve a spot by registering HERE by October 21. Students who plan on attending without participating in All-State Band audition clinics can RSVP by emailing Walk ups are also welcome!
