Lancer Day 2023 Parade & Home Football Game #1 THURSDAY, August 31
- 7am — Pep Band with Lancer Dancers & Cheerleaders
- 7:30am — march halls before 1st hour
- 1pm — Parade from SME to PV Shops. Band costume theme for parade: Chess Game Pieces (see section leaders for details)
- 2:30pm — students dismissed for dinner
- 5pm: Call time @ SME for students & volunteers (load equipment & buses)
- Game Attire: BLUE BAND SHIRT (Blue-Out is the Pep Club game theme), Black Athletic Shorts, black socks, marching shoes
- 5:30pm: Travel to SM North Stadium (bus lists coming this week)
- 6:50pm: Pregame Performance
- 8:00pm: Halftime Show (Movement 1)
FOOTBALL GAME VOLUNTEERS: sign up for bus chaperones, prop & equipment helpers, water crew, etc.,

The SME Band Boosters run the concession stand for most home sporting events when they are hosted at SME. The concession stand raises a significant amount of money for the band — by far, the largest continual fundraiser of the year! We need a lot of student and parent volunteers to succeed. Sign up here

- Prairie Village Jazz Festival Saturday, 9/9: Blue Knights Jazz Ensemble performs at 3pm
