- Current DM’s teaching conducting technique, commands, audition prep.
- Auditions will cover Fight Song/School Song/National Anthem
- All Drum Major candidates must set up an interview, and submit a resume for consideration. Please see signup sheet on practice room door for details.
IHMS Band 2 Festival Monday March 4, 7pm @ SME
- A few volunteers requested to help with programs, chairs/stands, etc., please see a director if you’re interested in helping!
KBA Jazz Championships Tuesday March 5, @ Wichita State University
- Blue Knights Perform @ 2:15pm, Miller Concert Hall, Duerksen Fine Arts Center
- Depart: 9:30am via Charter Bus
- Students Dismissed after 2nd hour (9:15am)
- Perform/Watch “Champions Concert” @ 4:30. Top bands from each division selected to perform.
- Return by 9pm

- Parents/students are welcome to attend. We do have room on the bus again for guests, but do not need help with chaperones. Tickets are $5.
- Students please bring $$ for lunch & dinner
- Attire: Concert Black

KSHSAA Solo & Ensemble Festival April 13 (Regional), April 27 (State)
- Soloists with piano accompaniment — see list of accompanists here — contact and arrange ASAP, they fill up fast
- Trios, Quartets, Quintets, Ensembles (no duets) — need to be formed by this week at the very latest. Please contact a director if interested
