- Please note we have an altered schedule this week: Mon: 7-period with zero hour, Tues: ODD (with zero hour), Wed: Special testing schedule (no band), Thurs: EVEN Late start (no band), Thursday evening: rehearsal 6-8pm @ SME Fri: No School (teacher workday)
ECKMEA All-District Honor Band and Honor Jazz Band

- Audition materials have been posted. Auditions are 11/5 at Gardner-Edgerton
- Students who successfully audition will perform along with the top musicians in the area at the Honors Convention on December 3rd

Tea Rex Boba Band Night
- Stop by Tea Rex Boba from 1-7pm this coming Wednesday, October 12th.
- 5832 Johnson Drive (Just off Woodson and Johnson Drive)
- 1$ goes to the band for every small, medium, and large drink sold if you tell us you’re here because of the band!
Popcorn Fundraiser Update
- We are over $20,000 in gross sales on this event with 2 days left. Can we make it to $25k? Please continue to push/share/sell this fundraiser. I received my popcorn this week (I bought from Sammy Hicks) and it is so good! My doctor disagrees.

Football Game #3 and IHMS Band Night Friday, 10/14

- 5:00pm: Tubas, Percussion call time. Load truck/trailer
- 5:15pm: Call time for all students, dress into full uniforms. GREY SHOW SHIRT
- 5:30pm: depart for SM North
- 6:00pm: Truck/trailers unloaded at SMN, prep for pregame
- 6:50pm: Pregame with IHMS students
- 8:00pm: approximate halftime performance
- 9:15pm: Load truck/trailer/buses — we will leave the equipment trucks at SMN overnight
- 9:30pm: Return to SME
