Pit Orchestra Rehearsals this week:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 2:50-5pm, band room
Band Booster Meeting – Thursday, 12/5 at 6:30pm, band room — moved from 12/4
District Honor Band Saturday, 12/7, Blue Valley HS — 6001 w. 159th Street, Stilwell, KS
- Students please report by 7:15am. Please refer to folder letters for details
- Do not forget a folding music stand!
- Performances are open to the public — $1 cash per spectator
- Jazz Band performs @ 1:30pm – Joseph Wagner (bass)
- Concert Bands perform @ 3pm – Shelby Winter (oboe), Mac Muehlberger (Bassoon), Annie Gorman (clarinet), Angelika Kline (clarinet), Aaron Fischer (bass clarinet)
Prairie Village Mayor’s Holiday Party Saturday, 12/7, Meadowbrook Park Clubhouse — 9101 Nall Ave, Prairie Village, KS 66207
- Blue Knights & Jazz Combo perform
- Dinner for students served at 7:30pm
- Performance: 8:15-9:30pm
- Attire: concert/holiday dress.
Basketball Concessions
- One of our top fundraising opportunities for the band. The SME Band Boosters and students run the concession stands for all home basketball games. It is a great way to help the band earn money and socialize with the SME community! Parents please sign up below (students you will sign up at a later date )

UPCOMING: Band Holiday Concert & 5th Annual Ugly Holiday Sweater Jamboree
- Wednesday, December 11 — Jazz, Marching/Cadet Band
- Students may dress up in “Ugly Holiday Sweaters”, Holiday attire, accessories, etc.
- Attire may be fun and creative but not detract from the musical performance (no large hats, flashing lights, etc)
