Q: Tell us a little about yourself.
A: I’m a freshmen and I play flute in the marching band.

Q: What is something about you that might surprise other people?
A: I’m a fencer.

Q: Anything about high school that you are particularly looking forward to?
A: I was looking forward to weights.

Q: Why did you decide to join band? Why did you choose to play the flute?
A: We had a flute at home when I was younger and I joined band because my sister was in band.

Q: If you were to begin playing another instrument, what would it be and why?
A: I would play the piano because I love the sound of it.

Q: Is there anything about marching band that is harder than you thought it would be? Anything that is easier?
A: Waking up is harder that I thought it would be. Memorizing where to go on the field is easier, though.

Q: Do you have any fun or exciting memories from band camp? If so, what are they?
A: I liked when the firetruck came and sprayed the band.

Q: What are some songs that you remember listening to when you were younger? Do you think that these songs impacted you in any way?
A: My family always went to my brother’s concerts and I always enjoyed those, so they probably impacted me.

Q: What song have you had on repeat for the last month?
A: "What A Wonderful World."

Q: What makes band special to you?
A: My sister and brother did it and my family really likes music.
