SME Band BBQ Fundraiser Friday and Saturday, October 4 & 5
- Last chance — we have extended the order deadline one more day! The online order form will be live all day Monday. Physical order forms can be turned in Monday.

BBQ Fundraiser Volunteers needed Thursday/Friday/Saturday, October 3, 4 & 5
- Please watch for an email from "smebandboosters@gmail.com" with a signup for specific volunteer needs. We will need several parents & students in order to make the fundraiser a success
- Thursday evening (10/3): prepare ribs and sides
- Friday (10/4): prepare ribs and sides, delivery
- Saturday (10/5): prepare ribs and sides, delivery, clean up
Marching Band Sectionals & Full Rehearsal Tuesday, 10/1
- At SME, 6-8pm
Marching Band Pictures Wednesday, 10/2, 7am
- Please arrive at 6:45am and begin changing into uniforms
- NEW: order forms were handed out last week, but with our new company you are able to order online as well. See link below:

- Please note: pre-pay prices, packages and custom buttons will be available for 2 additional business days after picture day.
- After two weeks, pictures will be released to the website and late orders can be placed, although prepay pricing/packages/custom items will not be available.
- There are a lot of great options for you to purchase memories of your marching band student! All accessories (photo buttons, magnets, dog tags, etc) should be ordered through the order form, not through the boosters as with the previous company.
Band Booster Meeting for 10/2 has been rescheduled
- The meeting will take place next Wednesday, 10/9 at 6:30pm in the band room.
Pep Band Friday, 10/4 @ SM South Stadium
- When we play a SMSD opponent as a visiting team, we perform as a voluntary pep band in the visiting stands. No halftime show or front ensemble/pit, just pep band instruments and sideline music.
- We will have an equipment truck available to transport instruments, but students/parents carpool or secure rides individually.
- Large instruments/percussion report to SME at 5:45pm to load truck
- Meet at SM South Stadium by 6:15pm. Blue band shirts/band jackets
