SME Class/Bell Schedule
Mon: 7p Tues: 7p Wed: ODD Thurs: EVEN Fri: 7p
6th Grade Honor Band Concert:
- Monday, January 13th. If you are helping out, please wear either your blue band shirt or your honor band shirt.
- Rehearsal starts at 3:45pm, and concert starts at 7pm. Plan to be there the entire time!
Pit Orchestra:
- Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 2:50-5pm, band room. Sitzprobe Thursday afternoon (full rehearsal with all cast, crew & pit) in band room. Rehearsal may run 3:00-5:30 or 3-6.
- After this week we will move into the auditorium and begin rehearsals with the cast
Pep Band:
- NEW: 7am rehearsals start this Tuesday from 7am-7:30am. We will learn new charts, and polish our existing game procedures/songs. Students wishing to earn ‘varsity letter’ credit’ for pep band must attend AM rehearsals.
- Little Lancer Night Friday, January 17th. This is one of the two required pep band performances for all band students (Symphonic and Concert Band).

-Dinner provided by Band Boosters
-Come hang out with the elementary school kids and get them excited about staying in band! This is our biggest recruiting night of the year.
Band Boosters 50/50 Raffle — New!
- The Band Boosters will be starting a 50/50 raffle at several home basketball games, starting THIS Friday, 1/17. Tickets are only $10! Must be 18+ years old to participate, and must be present to win. Volunteer Opportunities – Basketball Concessions
- One of our top fundraising opportunities for the band. The SME Band Boosters and students run the concession stands for all home basketball games. It is a great way to help the band earn money and socialize with the SME community!

All-State Auditions
- Due to the winter weather, All-State Auditions were postponed. They will now be held THIS Saturday, 1/18/2020, at Salina Central High School. Call time is still 5:15am Saturday morning at SM Northwest HS. 12701 W 67th St, Shawnee, KS 66216
